Officers of the Society
The aims of the Steering and Executive committees are to inform and guide the society as it works to further promote the study of, and scholarship around, human behaviour. A full list of contact details for committee members can be found here. Wolfgang Schneider
is the 2010-2014 President of ISSBD.
ISSBD address a number of different activities, including fellowship awards, travel grants, and regional workshops via smaller committees. A full list of who sits on each committee can be found here
The work of ISSBD in various regions and countries is supported by Coordinators. Their roles include:
- To facilitate the collection of membership dues
- To support members through organizing regional activities and through support of conference attendance
- To recruit new members
- To act as a bridge between ISSBD and the regional membership.

ISSBD is committed to helping early career scholars (typically undergraduate students, graduate/PhD students, postdocs, or junior faculty members) by providing resources, knowledge and a broad network of support. Julie Bowker
