Joining ISSBD for the first time

To join ISSBD as a new member, register online by clicking Join ISSBD. If you cannot register online, download a new member form which you can print and mail back. The form is in Adobe Acrobat PDF format. If you do not have Adobe Acrobat Reader, it can be downloaded free from the Adobe website.

Yearly fees and discounted multiple-year membership

Below are the membership fees (which have not increased in over nine years). Why not join or renew for two or more years and save money? To join as an early career scholar, you must have completed your postgraduate degree within the last 7 years; the limit for this grade of membership is 7 years). Students must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree. To join as an emeritus member, you must have retired from paid employment. See below for more details:

Reduced Regional Membership

If you live in one of the following countries, you are eligible for reduced membership rates. The countries are categorised based on World Bank data. For this reduced fee, you will still receive full membership benefits.

Members in countries with reduced rates may subscribe for up to 4 years. Simply multiply the number of years to the yearly amount; e.g. 2-year membership for a person in a low income category country is $10/£6, and 3-year membership is $15/£9.

Members in many countries and regions are supported by Regional/National Coordinators, who can help with matters including the payment of fees. See here for a list of these coordinators and their contact details.
